About
Monica, a native of Mexico City, is an accomplished architect whose work reflects a passion for art, innovation, and sustainability. She earned her Architecture degree from Universidad Iberoamericana and refined her craft at TEN Arquitectos under Enrique Norten before completing a Master’s in Advanced Architectural Design at Columbia University.

In New York City, Monica advanced her expertise at TADA under the leadership of Tim Dumbleton, where she honed her skills in design, real estate development, and construction. This experience laid the groundwork for her to establish MWT Design, where she serves as principal and head designer.
Her work thoughtfully integrates natural elements—such as light, orientation, and the unique character of each site—with technical precision and a deep understanding of her clients’ needs. The result is architecture that feels intentional, elevated, and deeply connected to its environment.
